• The World - 2025 doesn't seem so much different from our times. Technology has advanced, but society is the same as ever. The one major change is the presence of robotics in everyday life. Effective, efficient, and cheap robots are commonplace. They do jobs ranging from housekeeping and gardening to manufacturing and construction to law enforcement and security. The world has become very dependant on them. And some people have taken notice of that...
  
  
• RM Corp - RM Corp is huge. Gigantic. I suspect they bought out Microsoft at some point in the past, but don't hold me to that. Their main focus appears to be robotics. Their major product, the 3-A, was developed by the young genius Ziv Zulander.
  Other scientists and researchers within the corp eventually developed the Krang chip, a nifty little device that, when installed in a 3-A, allows for complete and total control of the robot. ...hence, they're gonna try and take over the world. Not all employees know of this. Only the highest ranking ones. The public is completely unaware of this sinister plan.
  The RM Corp is worldwide and very large. They have branches in the media, and in almost every major industry. Getting away from them or remaining free of their influence is difficult at best. They're most definitely an argument against big business getting too big.
  
  
• ZZ and the BOYZZ - Ziv Zulander is a 25-year old inventor who has had quite a life. When he was younger, he invented the 3-A in his garage, and sold the plans to RM Corp. He was hired immediately, and his future seemed quite bright. He continued to develop inventions and machines. However, his most important and impressive invention was never touched by the Corp. He created bots with artificial intelligence, the BOYZZ. (That's short for Brain Operated Young Zygoitopic Zoids. I never said ZZ was particularly good at naming things.) They were originally created to be friends and playmates for him, so he created an assitant, a few to play sports with him, a cook, a doctor, a researcher... each had their own distinct personality, their own skills, and their own views.
  ZZ somehow found out about the Corp's evil plan, and immediately quit his job and began his one-man and many-bot war against the RM Corperation. He built a few more BOYZZ specifically for combat, and refitted others. They were all glad to help him out. However, no one but him and a very few other people know his real intentions. The media has made him out to be a terrorist with a semi-unknown agenda. And he has undeniably broken the law in his attempts to save the world. Both the Corp, and law enforcment agencies want to bring him in.
